FAQs

I’ve never boxed before, is it suitable for me?

Boxing is for everybody, and everyone should be able to enjoy it and reap the benefits. Anyone who wants to increase their strength, fitness, balance and enjoyment for exercise should try boxing. You may be a high level athelete, or someone who’s never worked out before. Our classes accommodate everyone.

 

What are the aqua bags?

One of the reasons our classes are so fun, but also able to meet you where you are at is that, you don’t need ay skill to hit the aqua bag. They’re perfectly shaped in order to hit our 6 main punches, filled with water so they’re kinder on your joints, and no unescessary and frustrating padding. If you get the combo wrong, on-one is going to judge you.

 

How does a class work? and how long is it?

After a warm up, you will start either in our strength section or at the bag. We will spend a decent amount of time smashing out some combos or building our strength before swapping over. We will then swap again and spend another round on the bags before the final swap. Classes run for 50mins.

 

Location?

Our location is 3/104 Maitland Road, Islington.

There is plenty of on street parking available on both sides of the road.

 

What if I have an injury?

We are masters at keeping you moving no matter what. We meet our clients where they are at and can work around any limitations you have.

 

What do I need to bring?

We will provide you with wraps at your first class to keep, and there are gloves for you to borrow. You can also purchase your own gloves. Just bring your water and a sweat towel.

 

Boxing is so fun, a great stress reliever and an awesome workout!
